Bellevue is a Community of Caring School
Each day during the morning announcements we state: “Bellevue is a Community of Caring school, where we practice the traits of Caring, Respect, Responsibility, Trust and Family.” This week, because we’re focusing on the 9-5-2-1-0 initiative, directly after that announcement we have been highlighting the value of Responsibility. Specifically on this day we explained to students that a responsible healthy action is eating “5” fruits and vegetables each day and we told them that they would have an opportunity to practice eating responsibly at lunch. They loved the fresh fruit and veggies.
